  I was a patient here for almost 15 years and service was great for the first 10 with a steady staff. After that, they kept switching switching my doctors as seem to constantly be getting new staff. The more the previous staff left, the worse the care became. After being given my 3rd doctor in one year, whom I went in to follow-up on depression issues and changing medication, my last appointment was my last straw with that office as that doctor's advice was not in any way medically useful, (She told me, "Things aren't so bad, try to be happy"). After such a horrible, belittling experience, I avoided seeing a doctor for the past 4 years, for which my mental health has suffered. I am finally attempting to establish a new doctor to address those issues where I now reside 2+ hours away and called this office a few times last week in attempts to have my medical records faxed. Nobody answers and they are very slow at returning voicemails. Once I did finally get information, it was that they weren't willing to fax my records, that I had to pay $20 to get them on a disk and that I could only pay in person with cash or check. So I have an appointment this week that I won't have records for because Dr Owens office refuses to accept a credit card over the phone and expects me to mail payment (or make the 4+ hour round trip to do it in person) before they will mail anything, so there's no way I will get the records in time since they refuse to take payment over the phone or fax the records. I work in a medical setting, so I know that while releases are necessary (which can be done via fax), the rest is ridiculous and very poor customer service. I am SO GLAD I left that place, what a crummy place it's become over the years. WOW!
